Hi there! I’m Amanda Estrela, and today I’d like to take you behind the scenes of my life as an Account Manager here at Caleta Gaming.
I’ll be sharing a bit about what this role involves and offering some tips I’ve picked up along the way.
At its core, the role of an Account Manager is all about connection. We serve as the bridge between the company and the client, so it’s essential to not only understand our business but also to truly understand our clients’ needs.
It’s a dynamic and multifaceted position. No two days are the same, and that’s exactly what makes it so exciting. One moment, I’m working closely with my team to ensure our services align with what our clients expect. Next, I’m meeting with partners, whether at industry events, through online meetings, or across various communication channels. To build strong, lasting relationships.
Basically, I look after our clients and ensure our relationships are a win–win. That means being proactive, responsive, and genuinely invested in their success.
To thrive in this role, I rely on five key skills: time management, communication, organization, problem-solving, and negotiation. They’re tools I use every day to navigate challenges and create real value for our partners.
